I'm tired of all
This arguing
You've gone a step
To far again
So as this game of
Who made who begins
I wonder if I can
Still call you friend

Don't tell me who to be
Or how to live
I'm not your God
The more you demean me
The harder it is
To forgive

You sit and judge me
Who gives you that right
I don't answer to you
Or a puppet from above

The constant love
That you preach
Is underscored
In his jealousy,
Fear, anger and more
These things you
Don't ever teach
They're just made into
Pretty little stories
Or quietly forgotten
Put out of reach

I'm still sitting
Here waiting
For the answer
To my questions
So...

No more "Stories"
Now my friend
If you want to drag
Me down and say I'm wrong

Maybe you should practice
What you preach
Read that book
From cover to cover
And live by ALL
That it has to teach

I'm sure in time
You will come to see
Why I'm so happy
Just being me.
